Aphemia album and re-recordings
Hey guys, just a spot of news.
Aphemia have got an album's worth of material recorded now, and we are using this at the moment to promote the band in the music industry. At the same time, we are re-recording some of the material to give it that extra spark that we think will push it the extra mile. At the moment we're just doing All For You, a particular favourite of ours and one of our oldest tunes. It's a difficult one to do, as the existing recording has some really nice bits in it, and we've got to keep them whilst pushing it to the next level. Let me tell you, it's sounding pretty nice!
Anyway, we'll hopefully have a limited run of albums to sell at gigs so keep an eye out.

Aphemia to play @ Surface Unsigned Festival Competition
Guys, this is where we need you to come down and support us at the Rainbow in Birmingham. Surface Unsigned is a competition to find the most talented acts UK wide. If the band makes it through to the National Final then they will be playing in front of huge audiences at the Carling Academy in Birmingham.
We need you to support Aphemia by helping us through the rounds. We need every one of you to be there! If you need to get a lift just contact us and we'll see if we can put in you in our transport convoy ;)
It's a monday night, 31st of March, so we'll do everything we can to get you in a vehicle with us and down to the venue!

Hope you have! If you've survived the flu and alcohol poisoning, you have to come down to the gigs on 28th and 29th December. These will see Aphemia supporting ODS Saxon with several other great bands.
The first is in the Appleby, in Burton (28th Friday Dec) and the second is in Mansfield at the Intake Club (29th Saturday Dec).

We've got a video of the band playing at Thornborough. It's a typical british summer with rain, mud and people running to the nearest tent for cover, but the sound is good and it's your first chance to hear the new song Deeper Than You recorded.
